A note on premium rarities
Yu-Gi-Oh! has some of the most complex rarity systems in TCG. TCGScan reliably identifies Common through Secret Rare. However, premium foils — Starlight Rare, Quarter Century Secret Rare, Prismatic Secret Rare, and Ultimate Rare — have subtle physical differences that are very difficult to distinguish from a photograph.
