How do I scan a card?

Sign in, go to the Scanner, and point your camera at the front of the card. TCGScan's AI will identify it and pull a live market price. Hit 'Save' to add it to your library.

How many scans do I get on the free plan?

Free accounts include 25 AI scans per month. Need more? Pro (£2.99/month) gives you 200 scans and Plus (£5.99/month) is unlimited. Your scan count resets at the start of each calendar month. Library storage — viewing, searching, and managing saved cards — is unlimited on all plans.

How do I upgrade?

Go to the Pricing page and choose Pro (£2.99/month — 200 scans, collections and export) or Plus (£5.99/month — unlimited scans plus bulk scanning). You'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to the Pricing page and click 'Manage billing'. This opens the Stripe Billing Portal where you can cancel at any time. Your subscription continues until the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

If you have not used any paid features (i.e. you haven't scanned beyond your free allowance), you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment. Contact us using the form below.

Which trading card games are supported?

TCGScan supports 16 TCGs: Pokémon TCG, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, One Piece TCG, Flesh and Blood, Digimon Card Game, Final Fantasy TCG, Dragon Ball Super: Fusion World, Sorcery: Contested Realm, Union Arena, Grand Archive TCG, Star Wars: Unlimited, Gundam Card Game, hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME, Riftbound: LoL TCG. All of them get live market prices except Final Fantasy TCG, which uses an AI price estimate.

Where do your prices come from?

Prices are TCGplayer market prices, matched to the card's condition where the data allows and converted to GBP at the current exchange rate. For Pokémon, MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh! we fall back to CardMarket when TCGplayer has no price, and Japanese Pokémon cards are priced from CardMarket. The price is fetched live when you scan; saved cards are re-priced daily (Pokémon, MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!) or weekly (other games).

How accurate is the AI identification?

The AI is highly accurate for most cards but may occasionally misidentify unusual variants or heavily damaged cards. If a card is identified incorrectly, you can edit the details in your library. Condition is an AI estimate from a single photo, so check it before saving — it affects the price.

How do I delete my account and data?
